The Horsetrails application presents an innovative solution for horseback riders seeking to elevate their riding experience by exploring new trails. This user-friendly iPhone app is specifically designed for enthusiasts who wish to document their favorite routes while discovering new ones in a seamless manner.

One of the standout features of Horsetrails is its offline functionality. By storing trails and maps directly on the device, riders can navigate without the need for a data connection, a significant advantage when riding in remote areas or abroad.

The recording feature allows users to effortlessly log their rides. Upon completion, trails can be stored locally and shared either via email with friends or through the public database on the Horsetrails web platform, fostering a sense of community among horseback riders. In contrast to many other mapping applications, once downloaded, these maps can be accessed without any internet connection.

Users can easily view vital trail information such as time, distance, and elevation before embarking on their journey. This data is conveniently displayed in both the application’s top bar and bottom elevation profile.
